I like to show my dogs in performance events. I have participated in obedience competition, tracking, herding, and rally. I really enjoy rally and have finished four dogs in RM, RAE. I have showen in breed but due to health issues I haven't been able to run in the ring. I do help with local 4-H dog program and in the last couple of years the club members have been fantastic competitors at the county and state fairs and they have tried several events at AKC shows and been very successful. I have done and enjoyed visitations with my dogs. I have puppies that have gone to hunting home and some who are service dogs. It is fun to learn how to assist in the training for special needs dogs. The dogs who compete with me, live with me and are house dogs. They are family members. I am a CGC evaluator and I do CGC testing as well as the beginner levels of trick dog. We have a pup in Germany who is being shown. Two pups recently were selected to be trained as diabetic alert dogs. Rocky is starting his run for his RM and RAE titles. He has 2 RAE legs in spite of one of those weekends when things didn't go well.
